Getting There

Car
From Buzen, head east on Route 10 towards Fukuoka. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Sanyo Expressway. Merge onto the Sanyo Expressway (E2) heading towards Kobe. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit towards 'Kobe' and follow the signs for central Kobe. Once you enter the city, follow signs for 'Harborland' and 'Kobe Port Tower.' There is parking available near the tower, but it may incur a fee of around 500-1000 yen per hour depending on the lot.

Train
From Buzen, take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line train from Buzen Station to Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. In Tenjin, transfer to the subway and take the Kuko Line to Hakata Station. From Hakata, board the Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Shin-Kobe Station. Upon arrival at Shin-Kobe, transfer to the JR Kobe Line and take a train to Kobe Station. Once at Kobe Station, exit and head towards Harborland following the signs. Kobe Port Tower is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Note that the Shinkansen ticket may cost around 5000-7000 yen one way.

From Buzen, take a local bus to Fukuoka. At Fukuoka, transfer to a highway bus heading to Kobe. The bus trip will take about 1.5 to 2 hours and will cost approximately 2000-3000 yen. Once you arrive at the Kobe bus terminal, it is about a 15-minute walk to Kobe Port Tower. Follow the signs towards Harborland, and you will reach your destination.
