From Osakajokoen Station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the castle through Osaka Castle Park. Alternatively, take the Tanimachi or Chuo subway lines to Tanimachi Yonchome Station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the castle. Subway fare is around 240 yen.

From Osaka Station Bus Terminal, take bus numbers 10, 21, 31, 46, or 62 and get off at the Osakajo-koen bus stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Osaka Castle. The fare is approximately 210 yen.

Taxis are readily available in Osaka and can take you directly to Osaka Castle. A taxi ride from Osaka Station to Osaka Castle typically costs between 1,500 to 2,000 yen, depending on traffic.

If driving, use major highways to reach the area around Osaka Castle Park. Note that cars are generally not allowed inside Osaka Castle Park. Several parking lots are available around the park, including Osakajo Park Ekimae Parking and Osakajo Morinomiya Parking. Parking fees typically range from 400-500 yen per 60 minutes during the day and 200 yen per 60 minutes at night. All-day parking can cost around 1200 yen. Parking reservations are not accepted.
