If you are driving, start by heading towards Route 10 (also known as the Fukuoka Expressway). Follow the signs for Fukuoka City. Exit at the Hakata exit and continue on Sumiyoshi Dori. You will drive through the city until you reach Sumiyoshi Jinja, located at 3 Chome-1-51 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. There might be parking available near the shrine, but be prepared for potential parking fees, typically ranging from 200 to 500 yen per hour.
Public Transportation - Train
From Buzen, take a train from Buzen Station to Hakata Station. This may involve a transfer at Chikuzen-Maebaru Station depending on the line you choose.
