Car

If you're driving from the center of Chikugo, head north on Route 208. Follow the signs for Fukuoka and merge onto the Fukuoka Urban Expressway. Continue on the expressway until you reach Exit 3 for Momochihama. Once you exit, follow the signs for Momochihama. You will see the Fukuoka City Museum on your left at 3 Chome-1-1 Momochihama, Sawara Ward. Parking is available adjacent to the museum.
Public Transportation

To reach the Fukuoka City Museum by public transport, start at Chikugo Station. Take the JR Kagoshima Main Line towards Hakata Station. At Hakata Station, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway and take the Kuko Line towards Meinohama. Get off at Nishijin Station. From there, exit the station and take a bus No. 12 or 13 towards Momochihama. Get off at the 'Fukuoka City Museum' bus stop. The museum will be a short walk ahead.
