Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Chikugo city and take Route 208 towards Fukuoka. Follow the signs for Fukuoka and merge onto the Kyushu Expressway. Continue on the expressway for about 30 minutes, then take the exit for Hakata. Follow the signs for Hakata Ekimae. Hakata Sennen-no-Mon Gate is located at 1 Chome-7-29ー9 Hakata Ekimae, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees ranging from ¥200 to ¥500 per hour, depending on the lot.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, take the Nishitetsu train from Chikugo town station to Fukuoka (Tenjin) station. This journey takes about 45 minutes. Once at Fukuoka (Tenjin) station, transfer to the subway (Kuko Line) and travel to Hakata station (approximately 5 minutes).
