Getting There

    From Chikugo, take Route 207 north towards Sasebo. Follow the route until you reach the intersection with Route 35. Merge onto Route 35 and continue driving west. After approximately 35 kilometers, you will see signs for Huis Ten Bosch. Follow the signs to the entrance, where there is ample parking available. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around 800 yen for the day.

  • Train

    Start your journey from Chikugo Station. Take the JR Chikuhi Line towards Karatsu and transfer at Hakata Station. From Hakata, take the JR Sasebo Line towards Sasebo. Get off at Huis Ten Bosch Station, which is directly adjacent to the park. The total journey may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Train fares will vary, but expect to pay around 2,000 yen one way.

  • Bus

    From Chikugo, you can also take a local bus to Sasebo. Board a bus at your nearest bus stop heading to Sasebo Station. Once at Sasebo Station, follow the signs to the Huis Ten Bosch shuttle bus, which runs regularly to the park entrance. The bus ride from Chikugo to Sasebo will take around 1 hour, and the shuttle bus will take about 15 minutes. Total costs for the bus may be around 1,500 yen one way.
