If you're traveling by car from anywhere in Chikugo, start by heading toward Route 3. Once you reach Route 3, continue driving towards Itoshima. Follow the signs for Itoshima and merge onto Route 202. Drive for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Ito-koku History Museum located at 916 Iwara, Itoshima, Fukuoka 819-1582. There is parking available on-site, which is free of charge.

To reach the Ito-koku History Museum using public transportation, start by locating the nearest train station in Chikugo, such as Chikugo-Funaguma Station. Take the JR Chikuhi Line towards Itoshima. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at Itoshima Station. From there, you can take a local bus (check local schedules as they may vary) towards Iwara. Ensure you get off at the 'Iwara' bus stop. The museum is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Be prepared to pay a train fare of around 400 yen and a bus fare of about 200 yen.
