Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Chikuzen. Head south on Route 3 (Fukuoka Road) towards Fukuoka City. Continue straight for about 20 km until you reach Hakata Ward. Once in Hakata, follow the signs for Chikkohonmachi. When you reach Chikkohonmachi, you will see the Hakata Port Tower on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Hakata Port Tower by public transportation, start at Chikuzen Station. Take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line towards Fukuoka. Get off at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, which takes about 20 minutes. From there, transfer to the subway and take the Kuko Line towards Fukuoka Airport. Get off at Hakata Station (2 stops). Once at Hakata Station, exit the station and walk toward the Hakata Port Tower, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Just follow the signs towards the waterfront.
