If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) from your current location in Chubu. Follow the signs to Takayama. Once you reach Takayama, take the Takayama Interchange exit. After exiting, follow Route 158 toward Takayama city center. Continue straight for about 15 minutes. You will see signs for Matsuri no Mori Museum. The museum is located at 1111-1 Chishimamachi, Takayama, Gifu 506-0032. There is parking available on-site, typically costing around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
To reach Matsuri no Mori Museum using public transportation, start by taking a train to Takayama Station. If you're in Nagoya, you can take the Hida Limited Express train directly to Takayama, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. From Takayama Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located next to the station. Take the Nohi Bus (乗合バス) heading toward Chishimamachi. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Matsuri no Mori Museum bus stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is around 500 yen.
