If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Tottori City from your current location in Chugoku. You can use the Chugoku Expressway and take the Tottori IC exit. From the Tottori IC, follow Route 53 towards Tottori City. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the city center. Look for parking near the Tottori Castle Ruins, which is located at 〒680-0005 Tottori, 東町. Parking options include public parking lots nearby, which may charge around 300-500 yen for a few hours.
Public Transportation (Train)
If you prefer to use public transportation, take the JR Sanin Main Line to Tottori Station. From there, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Board the local bus heading towards 'Tottori Castle Ruins' or 'Tottori Park'. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes and cost around 210 yen. Once you arrive at the stop, follow the signs for Tottori Castle Ruins, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
