Please call upon arrival, as reservations are not possible. Alternatively, a taxi from Echigo-Yuzawa Station costs around ¥1,500.
Driving
Takahan is approximately a 6-minute drive from the Yuzawa Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway. From Tokyo, the drive takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Parking is available at the ryokan. Be aware that during peak seasons, parking may be limited.
Walking
Takahan is approximately a 30-minute walk (2.1km) from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. The walk is mostly flat and along a straight road. This is a good option to enjoy the winter scenery.
