Car
If you are driving, head towards Tokyo on the Kanetsu Expressway. Use the Shinjuku exit and follow the signs for Shinjuku City. Once in Shinjuku, navigate to Yokoteramachi and look for 40 Yokoteramachi. There is limited parking available nearby, so check for local parking lots. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from ¥300 to ¥600 per hour.
Train
For those using public transportation, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Etchu to Tokyo Station. Once at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line and take a train to Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku Station, exit via the East Exit and walk towards the direction of Yokoteramachi. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Samurai Theater Tokyo located at 40 Yokoteramachi. Keep in mind that train tickets from Etchu to Tokyo may cost around ¥10,000 to ¥12,000, depending on the train type.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take an intercity bus from Etchu to Shinjuku. Check for bus schedules as they may vary. The bus will drop you off near Shinjuku Station. From there, follow the same walking directions to Yokoteramachi. The bus fare is generally more economical, costing around ¥5,000 to ¥7,000.
