Getting There

Train

From Kanazawa Station, take the JR Hokuriku Line towards Toyama. The train ride takes approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at Takaoka Station. From Takaoka Station, exit the station and head southeast towards the main road. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Fushikifurukokufu. Turn right and walk for another 5 minutes to arrive at Shoko-ji, which will be on your left.
Bus

At Kanazawa Station, go to the bus terminal and board the Noto Railway bus bound for Takaoka. The journey takes around 45 minutes. Alight at the Fushikifurukokufu stop. From there, walk northeast on Fushikifurukokufu street for about 10 minutes. Shoko-ji will be on your left side.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Kanazawa. Cycle along the main roads towards Takaoka. The distance is approximately 20 km and will take roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes. Follow Route 8, and as you approach Takaoka, look for signs directing you to Shoko-ji. Once in Takaoka, navigate to Fushikifurukokufu street, and Shoko-ji will be on your left.
