Public Transport
To reach Tamadono Iwaya via public transportation, head to Etchu-Tateyama Station. Take a train on the Toyama Chihō Railway towards Tateyama Station, which is about a 30-minute journey. From Tateyama Station, local buses or taxis can take you closer to Tamadono Iwaya. A one-way train ticket from Toyama Station to Tateyama Station costs approximately ¥1,420.
Car
If traveling by car from Etchu, head north on Route 130 and follow the signs for Tateyama. After about 20 kilometers, you'll reach Tateyama town. Continue on Route 300 towards Tamadono Iwaya. Parking is available near the attraction, but availability may be limited during peak seasons. Tolls may apply depending on the route taken. Parking costs are approximately ¥500 per day.
