    Getting There

    Subway

    Start at Fukuoka Airport Station. Take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Hakata Station. The journey takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Hakata Station, follow the signs to the East Exit.

    Train

    If you are at Tenjin Station, take the Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) through the Tenjin Omuta Line towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. Transfer at Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station to the Nishitetsu Line, heading to Hakata Station. Once at Hakata Station, exit through the East Exit.

    Bus

    From Tenjin, take the Nishitetsu bus heading to Hakata Station. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at Hakata Station and exit through the East Exit.

    Walking

    If you are staying near Hakata Station, you can easily walk to Hakata Old Town. From the East Exit of Hakata Station, head south on Hakata Ekimae Street. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach 1 Chome-7 Hakata Ekimae, where Hakata Old Town Area is located.
