Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Hakata Station, exit from the Chikushiguchi exit (the east exit). From the station, walk straight towards the main road (Hakata Ekimae). Turn left onto Hakata Ekimae and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the direction to Meiji Park, which is located at 3 Chome-24 Hakata Ekimae. The park entrance will be visible on your right side.

  • Public Transport - Subway

    From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) from Hakata Station towards Nakasu-Kawabata. Get off at the next station, which is Nakasukawabata Station. After exiting the station, walk towards the river and take a left along the riverside path. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will see Meiji Park on your left at 3 Chome-24 Hakata Ekimae. The subway fare from Hakata Station to Nakasukawabata Station is approximately 210 yen.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Hakata Station, take a bus from the Hakata Bus Terminal located next to the station. Look for bus number 100 or 200 that goes towards Tenjin. Get off at the Meiji Park bus stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes and costs around 210 yen. After getting off, you will see the entrance to Meiji Park directly across the street from the bus stop.
