Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near Tenjin Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) from Tenjin Station towards Fukuoka Airport. Travel for 2 stops and get off at Akasaka Station. From Akasaka Station, exit the station and head towards the west along the main road. After about a 10-15 minute walk, you will reach the entrance of Maizuru Park at 1-4 Jonai, Chuo Ward.

  • Bus

    From Hakata Station, catch the Nishitetsu Bus #100 or #200. These buses frequently run towards Tenjin. Get off at the 'Maizuru Koen' stop, which is directly in front of Maizuru Park. The park entrance is just a short walk from the bus stop, and you will be able to see the park's entrance as you approach.

    If you are already in the vicinity of Tenjin, you can walk to Maizuru Park. From the Tenjin Core shopping center, head west on the main street, Chuo Dori, for about 15-20 minutes.
