Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
From the center of Nakasu, head east towards the main road (Nakasukawabata Station area). Walk straight along the main road (Nakasu Dori), and keep an eye out for the signage leading to 'Seiryu Park'. It’s approximately a 10-15 minute walk. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way, which makes for a pleasant stroll.
Public Transport - Subway
If you prefer using public transport, you can take the subway from Nakasu-Kawabata Station. Board the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Fukuoka Airport. Get off at Tenjin Station (1 stop). From Tenjin Station, exit towards the Nishitetsu Bus Terminal and head out to the main street. Walk straight for about 5-10 minutes, and you will reach Seiryu Park. The subway fare is approximately 200 yen.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental stations in Nakasu. Rent a bike and head towards the east along the river (Naka River), following the bike paths. It should take around 10 minutes to reach Seiryu Park. Rentals typically cost around 500 yen for a couple of hours.
