Walking
If you are in Nakasu, the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum is within walking distance. Start by heading towards the Nakasu-Kawabata Station on the subway. From there, exit the station and walk south on Nakasu's main road (Naka River) towards the intersection with the main street (Tenjin). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Shimokawabata Street. Turn left at this intersection. The museum is located at 3-1 Shimokawabata-machi, on the 7th and 8th floors of the building. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.

For an easier option, you can take the subway. Head to Nakasu-Kawabata Station and board the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Fukuokakukou (Fukuoka Airport). Alight at the next stop, which is Tenjin Station. From Tenjin, transfer to the Nishitetsu Line to get to Gion Station. Once you are at Gion Station, walk towards the Naka River and continue to Shimokawabata Street. The museum will be a short walk from there. The total travel time will be around 30-40 minutes, including waiting time and transfers.
