Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the Hakone area from your current location. Navigate to the Odawara-Atsugi Road (Route 1) and follow the signs for Hakone. Once in Hakone, look for signs directing you to Ohiradai. Upon reaching Ohiradai, look for parking options near Hayakawa Gorge. There may be parking fees, typically around 500-1000 yen depending on the lot.
Public Transportation
To reach Hayakawa Gorge via public transportation, first make your way to Hakone Yumoto Station. From there, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station. At Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride it to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan, board the Hakone Ropeway towards Owakudani. Get off at the Ohiradai Station. From there, it's a short walk to Hayakawa Gorge. Ensure you check the train and cable car schedules ahead of time, as frequency may vary. The total cost for the train and cable car journey is approximately 1500 yen one way.
