Getting There

Car

If you are driving to Hakone-en, start by navigating to the Hakone area. From the Hakone-Yumoto Station, take Route 1 towards Moto-Hakone. Follow signs for Lake Ashi and continue until you reach Hakone-en at 139 Motohakone, Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa 250-0522. There is parking available at Hakone-en, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 500-1000 JPY depending on the duration of your stay.
Public Transportation

To reach Hakone-en using public transportation, start from Hakone-Yumoto Station, which is accessible via the Odakyu Line from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo.
