Car
If you are driving, start from Hakone Yumoto Station. Head south on Route 1, then take Route 732 towards Hien Waterfall. After about 10 minutes of driving, you will see signs for Hien Waterfall. There is parking available near the waterfall entrance, but be aware that it may fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
Public Transportation
From Hakone Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus towards 'Hien Waterfall'. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hien Waterfall' bus stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to the waterfall entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return times, as buses may not run frequently.
Walking
If you are already in the Yumoto area, Hien Waterfall is accessible by a scenic walk. From Hakone Yumoto Station, walk along the river path heading east along the road. It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to walk to the waterfall, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Follow signs for Hien Waterfall as you approach.
