Car
If you're driving from central Hakone, take Route 1 towards Odawara. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Fuji City. Once in Fuji, look for signs for Imai. Turn onto Imai Street and follow it until you reach 2 Chome-7-1 Imai. The Myohoji temple will be on your left. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To get to Myohoji by public transport, head to Hakone-Yumoto Station and take the Odakyu Line towards Odawara. Transfer at Odawara Station to the Tokaido Line towards Shizuoka. Get off at Fuji Station. From Fuji Station, take the bus (local bus number 2 or 3) towards Imai. Get off at the Imai stop, which is a short walk to the temple at 2 Chome-7-1 Imai.
