Public Transport
From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus (H or R route) to Motohakone-ko bus stop. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes and costs around ¥980. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the Hakone Shrine entrance. Alternatively, take a Hakone Sightseeing Cruise from Hakone-machi Port or Togendai Port to Motohakone-ko Port. From there, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the shrine. The cruise costs around ¥1,200 - ¥1,600 depending on the route.
