From the parking area, you will need to take a bus to the Kamikochi Information Center, which costs approximately ¥2,000 one way.

    To reach Kamikochi using public transportation, start by taking a train from Hida to Matsumoto Station. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once at Matsumoto Station, transfer to the Alpico Kotsu bus service towards Kamikochi. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around ¥2,500. The bus will take you to the Kamikochi bus terminal, which is just a short walk from the Kamikochi Information Center.
