Ferry
From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line to Miyajimaguchi Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Miyajimaguchi Station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal, which is a short walk from the station. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Miyajima Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and you'll enjoy beautiful views of the sea and the iconic Itsukushima Shrine. After arriving at Miyajima Island, head towards the main street and follow the signs to Daishoin Temple, which is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
Bus
From Hiroshima Station, take a local bus (number 2 or 3) towards Miyajimaguchi. The bus ride takes around 40 minutes. Get off at the Miyajimaguchi bus stop, which is just a short walk from the ferry terminal. From there, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Miyajima Island. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. After getting off the ferry, follow the main path leading away from the terminal toward Daishoin Temple, which is approximately a 15-minute walk away.
