Getting There

Walking
If you're near the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, head southeast towards the entrance of the park. Once you're at the entrance, walk along the main path through the park, passing by the Atomic Bomb Dome. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the park, which will take about 10-15 minutes. Exit the park and turn left onto Heiwa Odori Street. Follow this street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Motomachi Street. Turn right onto Motomachi Street, and after about 3 minutes of walking, you will see the Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine on your left at 21-2 Motomachi.

Public Transport - Tram
From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (tram) Line 1 or Line 2. Get off at the Genbaku Dome-mae stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Walk through the park as described in the walking route above, and continue on Motomachi Street until you reach the shrine. This should take about 10-15 minutes of walking after your tram ride.

If you're at the Hiroshima Bus Terminal, take the number 24 or 25 bus heading towards Motomachi. Get off at the Motomachi stop. From there, walk north along Motomachi Street for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine on your right. It’s very close to the bus stop, making it a convenient option.
