Public Transportation
If you are starting from Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram line 1 (to Eba or Hiroshima Port) or tram line 2 (to Kaitaichi) and get off at the Hijiyama-shita stop. This journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you exit the tram, walk up the hill towards Hijiyamakoen Park. Follow the signs for Hiroshima MOCA, which is located at 1-1 Hijiyamakoen, about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.
Walking
If you are already in the Minami Ward area, you can walk to Hiroshima MOCA from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Head south towards the Hijiyama Park area. It's about a 25-minute walk. Follow the signs to Hijiyamakoen and look for directional markers that will guide you to the museum, which is situated at the top of the hill.
Bus
From Hiroshima Station, you can also take a local bus to Hijiyama Park. Board a bus that goes to Hijiyama Park (check the bus schedule for routes that mention 'Hijiyama' or 'Hiroshima MOCA'). The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After you get off, follow the signs towards Hiroshima MOCA, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
