Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Hiroshima Station, take the 'Hiroshima Bus' number 24 or 25 heading towards Futabanosato. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Futabanosato' stop. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes northeast on Futabanosato Street. The Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine will be on your right at 2 Chome-1-18 Futabanosato.

  • Tram

    From Hiroshima Station, walk to the nearby Hiroden (Hiroshima Electric Railway) tram stop. Take Tram Line 1 (towards Eba) or Tram Line 2 (towards Kaitaichi) and ride it for 12 stops to 'Hondori' station. Transfer to Tram Line 6 (towards Takaoka) and ride it for 6 stops. Get off at 'Futabanosato' station. Walk about 10 minutes northeast on Futabanosato Street until you reach the Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine at 2 Chome-1-18 Futabanosato.

  • Walking

    If you're near the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you can walk to the Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine. The distance is about 3 kilometers and will take around 35-40 minutes. Head east from the park towards the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, then continue on the main road (Futabanosato Street) heading northeast. Follow the road until you see the Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine on your right.
