From the Miyajima Ferry Terminal, head south towards the main street, Omotesando. Walk straight along this street, which is lined with shops and restaurants. Continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Itsukushima Shrine will be directly in front of you, marked by its iconic red torii gate.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Miyajima Ferry Terminal. After renting a bike, head south on Omotesando Street. It takes approximately 5 minutes to cycle to Itsukushima Shrine. Look for the signs leading to the shrine along the way.

While walking is the most common way to get to Itsukushima Shrine, you can also take a local bus if you prefer not to walk. Catch the local bus from the Miyajima Ferry Terminal.
