Walking
If you are starting from Hiroshima Station, exit the station and head towards the south exit. From there, follow the signs to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). As you walk, you’ll pass several local shops and cafés. Once you reach the park, you can explore the beautiful grounds. The Mahatma Gandhi Statue is located on the north side of the park, near the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Look for the large stone statue amidst the greenery.

Public Transportation
From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (tram) Line 2 (the 'Hondori' line) towards 'Eba'. Get off at 'Genbaku Dome-mae' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From the tram stop, walk towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The Mahatma Gandhi Statue is located within the park, just a short 5-minute walk from the Genbaku Dome. Follow the signs directing you to the park entrance, and once inside, head north to find the statue.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental stations near Hiroshima Station. Head towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which is about a 10-minute ride (1.5 km) away. There are designated bike lanes along the route. Once you arrive at the park, you can park your bicycle at the designated bike racks and stroll through the park to locate the Mahatma Gandhi Statue on the north side near the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall.
