Train and Ferry
From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line towards Miyajima-guchi Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Miyajima-guchi Station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Miyajima Island; the ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Upon arriving at Miyajima, you will see signs directing you to Mount Misen. Follow the path towards the Mount Misen entrance, which will take approximately 30 minutes of walking.
Bus and Ferry
From Hiroshima Bus Center, board the bus bound for Miyajima. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Miyajima ferry terminal. From there, purchase a ferry ticket and board the ferry to Miyajima Island, which takes around 10 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to Mount Misen, about a 30-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
Walking
If you are already on Miyajima Island, head towards the main street (Omotesando) and continue walking straight until you see the entrance to Mount Misen. The path is well-marked, and the walk to the summit of Mount Misen will take approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
