Getting There

  • Walking

    From Hiroshima Station, walk north along Ekimae-dori Avenue for approximately 15 minutes. Turn left onto Motomachi Street. The Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building will be on your right, where the HIT office is located on the 8th floor.

  • Public Transport

    From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroden streetcar lines 1, 2, or 6 to Kamiya-cho-Higashi or Kamiya-cho-Nishi stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building. The streetcar fare is a flat 240 yen for adults.

  • Taxi

    A taxi from Hiroshima Station to the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building takes approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is around 1,200 JPY. Taxi fare in Hiroshima starts at 620 JPY, with an additional 500 JPY per kilometer.

These include marketing Hiroshima's tourism assets, executing promotional campaigns, developing tourism products, improving the reception environment for tourists, and fostering hospitality. The association also collaborates with tourism-related businesses and collects and disseminates tourism information.Since its establishment in 1950, HIT has undergone several organizational changes, including mergers and transitions, to adapt to the evolving needs of the tourism industry. In recent years, HIT has focused on data-driven marketing and customer-centric strategies to enhance the tourism experience and attract repeat visitors. The association also manages the official Hiroshima tourism website, Dive! Hiroshima, which provides comprehensive information on attractions, events, and accommodations in the region.
