The association also collaborates with tourism-related businesses and collects and disseminates tourism information.Since its establishment in 1950, HIT has undergone several organizational changes, including mergers and transitions, to adapt to the evolving needs of the tourism industry. In recent years, HIT has focused on data-driven marketing and customer-centric strategies to enhance the tourism experience and attract repeat visitors. The association also manages the official Hiroshima tourism website, Dive! Hiroshima, which provides comprehensive information on attractions, events, and accommodations in the region.
