Assuming you are already within Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, begin by locating the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. From the museum's main building, walk south towards the Atomic Bomb Dome. The Prayer Fountain is positioned on the line overlooking the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace City Monument, in the south square of the Peace Memorial Museum. The fountain will be a short distance away, near a pond and surrounded by greenery.

If arriving at Hiroshima Station, take tram line 2 or 6 to the Genbaku-Domu Mae (Atomic Bomb Dome) stop. The tram ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs ¥240. From the Atomic Bomb Dome stop, walk south for about 7 minutes to reach the Peace Memorial Museum, and then follow the walking directions to the fountain. Alternatively, take the Hiroshima Sightseeing Loop Bus (Meipuru-pu) from Hiroshima Station to the Peace Memorial Park. A single ride costs ¥240, or a day pass is available for ¥600. From the Peace Memorial Park bus stop, walk towards the Peace Memorial Museum and follow the walking directions to the fountain.
