If you are driving from Sapporo, take the Hokkaido Expressway (道央自動車道) heading towards Asahikawa. After about 2 hours, merge onto Route 40 towards Nakagawa. Continue on Route 40 until you reach Hombetsu. Once in Hombetsu, follow the signs to Honbetsu Park located at Higashimachi, Hombetsu, Nakagawa District, Hokkaido 089-3302. Parking is available at the park.

From Sapporo Station, take the JR Hakodate Line to Asahikawa Station. Transfer to the JR Sekihoku Line and travel to Nakagawa Station.
