Depending on where you are in Hokkaido, you may need to connect to the Daisetsu Sounkyo Line (大雪層雲峡線) towards Kamikawa. Once you reach the Kamikawa area, take Route 39 (国道39号) north towards Sounkyo. Follow the signs for Sounkyo Onsen (層雲峡温泉) as you enter the town. Soubaku Dai is located in the Sounkyo area, specifically at coordinates 43.7197177, 142.979538. There are parking areas available nearby, but be prepared for possible parking fees depending on the season.

To reach Soubaku Dai via public transportation, take a train to Kamikawa Station (上川駅) from your location in Hokkaido.
