    If you are traveling from Sapporo, take the Hokkaido Expressway (道央自動車道) towards Obihiro. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Obihiro, take Route 38 south towards Makubetsu. Tokachi Hills is located at 13-5 Nisshin, Makubetsu, Nakagawa District, Hokkaido 089-0574. Look for signs along the road to guide you to your destination. There is parking available on-site.

    From Sapporo Station, take the JR Super Tokachi Limited Express to Obihiro Station. The ride takes about 2 hours. From Obihiro Station, exit and find the bus terminal. Board the 'Tokachi Hills Shuttle' bus which operates several times a day. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary seasonally. The total cost for the train is around ¥6,000, and the bus fare is about ¥1,000.

  • Public Transport from Nearby Cities

    If you are in Asahikawa, take the JR Kamikawa Line to Takikawa, then transfer to the JR Super Kamui Limited Express to Obihiro. After arriving at Obihiro, follow the previous instructions for the bus to Tokachi Hills. This journey can take around 4 hours in total and will cost approximately ¥8,000 for the train and ¥1,000 for the bus.
