If you are driving to Tokiwa Park from Sapporo, take the Hokkaido Expressway (道央自動車道) towards Asahikawa. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. Exit at the Asahikawa IC and follow Route 39 towards Asahikawa city. Continue on Route 39 until you reach the intersection with Route 40. Turn left onto Route 40 and follow the signs to Tokiwa Park. The park is located at Tokiwakoen, Asahikawa, Hokkaido 070-0044. There is parking available at the park, but parking fees may apply, so be sure to check for any signage upon arrival.

To reach Tokiwa Park via public transportation from Sapporo, take the JR Hakodate Line (函館本線) from Sapporo Station to Asahikawa Station. The train ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
