Getting There

  If you are traveling by car, from Sapporo, take the Hokkaido Expressway (道央自動車道) towards Chitose. Continue on the expressway for approximately 60 kilometers. Take the exit for Shimukappu (占冠) and follow the signs towards Nakatomamu. The Ice Village is located in Nakatomamu, Shimukappu, Yufutsu District, Hokkaido 079-2204. Look for the signs indicating 'Ice Village' as you approach the area. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a parking fee, typically around ¥500.

• Public Transportation (Train + Bus)

  To reach Ice Village using public transportation, start by taking a train from Sapporo Station to Chitose Station on the JR Chitose Line. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Chitose Station, transfer to the JR Muroran Line and ride to Shimukappu Station, which takes around 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Shimukappu Station, you can take a local bus to Nakatomamu.
