Getting There

  • Walking

    From JR Asahikawa Station, Tokiwa Park is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head east from the station towards the city center. Follow Heiwa Dori pedestrian street for about one kilometer. Continue walking straight; you will see the park entrance on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From Asahikawa Station, take bus number 3, 23, 24, 33, or 35 from bus stop 14 on Block Road 1. Get off at Yojo-Yonchome (bus 3, 33, 35), which is a 5-minute walk to the park, or Hachijo-Nishi-Itchome (bus 23, 24), a 3-minute walk. Alternatively, take a bus that stops at Tokiwa Koen-Mae, which is a 7-minute walk to the park. The fare is approximately ¥210.
