Fun and memorable

I was picked up by Eichii-san, a very friendly and warm tour guide, at 8 a.m from my hotel. Due to the recent typhoon, some parts of the scheduled Journey had to be modified, nevertheless I still enjoyed the tour. Because of the typhoon, the boat trip to Monkey Island was initially cancelled. Luckily, when we arrived the boat service had resumed, and we were able to enjoy the trip and see the monkeys up close. Afterwards, we continued on to Cape Toi, where we got to see the horses. There we climbed up the light house and enjoyed a marvellous view of the Area. Unfortunately, the shrine could not be visited because the road had been damaged by the typhoon, and for anyone who wanted to visit, there was at least a 30 min walk upwards. Since I was the only tourist on the tour, I decided not to make the walk there. Eichii-san was more than happy to accompany me on foot if I insisted, which I really appreciated. In between the main stops, Eichii-san also introduced me to some famous local foods and interesting places along the way. We even passed by the Totoro photo spot, and tried the bizarre shrimp-flavored ice cream. All in all, I'm really glad I booked this tour. The day went by quickly, and before I knew it, it was already 4 p.m. Despite the small changes to the trip, the experience was relaxed, enjoyable, and full of local experiences. I really loved the trip, and I felt that it was the suitable amount of sightseeing for my short stay in Miyazaki. I would definitely recommend this tour
