If you're driving from central Iki, take Route 382 heading northwest. Continue on Route 382 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Shimosuwa. Once in Shimosuwa, follow the signs for Akasunasaki Park, which will direct you to 東赤砂10944. The park is located near the eastern coast of Lake Suwa, easily visible on your GPS. Parking is available near the park entrance.

To reach Akasunasaki Park via public transport, start by taking a local bus from Iki to Hakata Station. From Hakata Station, board the JR Chuo Line towards Nagoya and get off at Shimosuwa Station. Once at Shimosuwa Station, you can either take a taxi directly to the park or look for local buses that head towards the lake area. The taxi ride should take about 10 minutes and will cost around 1,500 yen.
