If you're driving from anywhere in Iki, head towards the Iki Ferry Terminal. From the terminal, take Route 382 heading north for about 30 minutes. Follow the signs for Suwa and merge onto Route 20. After approximately 15 minutes, take the exit towards Kuwabara. Continue for another 5 minutes, and you will reach the Kuwabara Castle Ruins, located at 〒392-0012 Nagano, Suwa, 四賀桑原. Make sure to park in the designated parking areas nearby.

To visit Kuwabara Castle Ruins via public transportation, start at the Iki Ferry Terminal and take a ferry to Nagasaki. From Nagasaki, board a limited express train to Suwa Station. The train ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once at Suwa Station, catch a local bus or taxi to the Kuwabara area. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes, and you will need to get off at the stop nearest to Kuwabara Castle Ruins. The total cost for the ferry and train combined is approximately ¥3,000.
