Car
If you are traveling by car from any point in Iki, start by heading towards the Iki Airport Road (also known as Route 202). Drive towards the Iki Airport and continue past it. Once you reach the ferry terminal area, take Route 202 towards the mainland. After reaching the mainland, continue on Route 19, which will lead you towards Nagano Prefecture. Once in Nagano, follow the signs to Omachi. The Omachi Alpine Museum is located at 8056-1 Omachi, Nagano 398-0002. Ensure you have a navigation system or map, as you may need to make some local turns to reach the specific address.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a ferry from Iki to Moji Port on the mainland. The ferry service operates regularly, and tickets cost approximately ¥2,000 one-way. Once you arrive at Moji Port, transfer to the JR Train Line. Take the train to Nagano Station, which is approximately a 3-hour journey. From Nagano Station, catch a local bus heading towards Omachi. The bus fare is around ¥1,200. The Omachi Alpine Museum is located about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop in Omachi. Look for signs directing you to the museum, or use a map application for guidance.
