Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in Iki, first head towards Route 382, which is a main road that connects various parts of the island. Follow Route 382 north until you reach the junction with Route 28. Merge onto Route 28 and continue driving north for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Suwa Lakeside Park. As you approach, watch for the park entrance on your right. There is parking available at the park, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Iki. Take the bus heading towards Wakamatsu Station, which is a common terminal for longer routes. After arriving at Wakamatsu Station, transfer to a bus that goes directly to Suwa Lakeside Park. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and you may need to check the local schedule for exact departure times. The fare is typically around 500 yen. Once you arrive at the Suwa Lakeside Park stop, the park entrance will be just a few minutes' walk away.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can opt for a taxi from any location in Iki. Simply tell the driver 'Suwa Lakeside Park' or show them the address: 2 Chome-2 Kogandori, Suwa, Nagano 392-0027. The taxi ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes and will cost around 3,000 to 4,000 yen depending on traffic conditions.
