Getting There

  • Walking

    The Atomic Bomb Memorial Burial Mound is located within Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. From the Peace Memorial Museum, walk north through the park, following signs for the various memorials. The mound is located near the Children's Peace Monument.

    From Hiroshima Station, take streetcar line 2 or 6 to the Genbaku-Domu Mae (A-Bomb Dome) stop. From there, it is a short walk into Peace Memorial Park. Follow the signs to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Burial Mound. The streetcar fare is ¥240 for adults. Alternatively, take the Hiroshima Sightseeing Loop Bus (Meipuru-pu) and get off at the Peace Memorial Park. A one-day pass for the loop bus costs ¥600.
