    Getting There

    Walking

From any of the three train stations near Enoshima (Enoden's Enoshima Station, Odakyu's Katase Enoshima Station, or Shonan Monorail's Shonan Enoshima Station), walk towards the water. The Enoshima Benten Bridge will be clearly visible, connecting the mainland to the island. The walk from any station takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no tolls or fees to cross the bridge.

    Public Transport

The Enoden railway is a convenient option for reaching Enoshima from Kamakura or Fujisawa. Ride to Enoshima Station and walk towards the bridge. Alternatively, take the Odakyu Line to Katase Enoshima Station or the Shonan Monorail to Shonan Enoshima Station, then walk to the bridge. A single Enoden fare from Fujisawa to Enoshima is around ¥220. From Kamakura, the Enoden fare to Enoshima is about ¥310. Consider the Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass for unlimited rides on the Enoden line and Odakyu lines in the area for ¥1,470 (from Shinjuku).

The Bentenmaru ferry connects Benten Bridge to the Iwaya Caves area on the western end of Enoshima. This option is ideal for those who wish to minimize walking. The ferry pier is located near the base of the bridge on the Enoshima side. A one-way trip to the Iwaya Caves takes about 6 minutes. The fare is approximately ¥400 per adult. Note: The ferry service is subject to weather conditions.
