Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Shima and head towards Route 42. Follow Route 42 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 134. Turn onto Route 134 and continue heading towards Kamakura. After about 20 kilometers, you will arrive in Kamakura. Look for signs indicating 'Shichirigahama' and turn onto Shichirigahama Higashi Street. The Kamakura Prince Hotel is located at 1 Chome-2-18 Shichirigahamahigashi. Parking is available at the hotel but may incur a fee, typically around 1,000 yen per day.
Train
For those using public transportation, start at Shima Station. Take the Kintetsu Line towards Toba, and then transfer at Toba Station to the Kintetsu Limited Express bound for Nagoya. Ride to Iseshi Station, where you will transfer to the Kintetsu Nagoya Line towards Nagoya. Get off at Kamakura Station, which will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Kamakura Station, take a taxi to the Kamakura Prince Hotel, which is about a 10-minute drive away and will cost approximately 1,500 yen.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Shima to Kamakura. At Shima's main bus terminal, board the bus bound for Kamakura, which may take around 2 hours. Once you arrive at Kamakura Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach the Kamakura Prince Hotel. The bus fare is approximately 1,500 yen, while the taxi from the terminal will cost around 1,200 yen.
