Public Transport
From Minami-Morimachi Station (Osaka Metro Tanimachi and Sakaisuji Lines), walk approximately 15 minutes north. Alternatively, from Sakuranomiya Station (JR Osaka Loop Line), exit the station, cross Genpachi Bridge, follow the river south, and cross the silver bridge. The Mint Museum will be on your left. Osaka city buses also operate in the area. A flat fare of ¥210 for adults and ¥110 for children applies. Consider purchasing an Enjoy Eco Card for unlimited use of Osaka Metro and Osaka City Bus lines for one day (¥820 for adults on weekdays, ¥620 on weekends and holidays; ¥310 for children).
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Osaka. A short taxi ride from Osaka Station to the Mint Museum will cost approximately ¥800-¥1200, depending on traffic conditions and the exact route. Note that there is no dedicated parking at the Mint Museum.
Walking
From Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, walk east along the Okawa River for approximately 15 minutes. The Mint Museum will be on your right. Enjoy the scenic riverside walk.
