Public Transport
The Tokyo Skytree is easily accessible via public transport. The most convenient stations are Tokyo Skytree Station on the Tobu Skytree Line and Oshiage Station on the Hanzomon Line, Asakusa Subway Line, and Keisei Oshiage Line. From Oshiage Station, follow the signs for a short walk to the tower's entrance on the 4th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town. Subway fares from Tokyo Station to Oshiage Station range from ¥190-¥220. A Tokyo Subway Ticket offers unlimited rides on Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines.
Bus
Direct buses connect Tokyo Skytree to several key locations. The Skytree Shuttle operates from Tokyo Station, Ueno-Asakusa area, Haneda Airport, and Tokyo Disney Resort. Toei Bus line 23 runs from Ueno Station (via Asakusa) to Tokyo Skytree Station. Bus fare from Ueno Station is ¥220. Alternatively, a bus from Tokyo Station to Tokyo Skytree Station will cost you approximately ¥210.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Tokyo. A taxi from Tokyo Station to Tokyo Skytree typically takes around 20 minutes and costs approximately ¥3,262 - ¥4,100. Taxi fares in Tokyo are metered, with a minimum fare of ¥420 for the first 1,052 meters, and additional charges of ¥80 for every 233 meters thereafter. Note that fares increase by 20% from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Car
If driving, Tokyo Skytree has parking facilities, but they can be busy. Parking is available from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Parking costs ¥450 per 30 minutes. For longer visits, the maximum daily fee is ¥1,500 on weekdays and ¥3,000 on weekends. Be aware of vehicle size restrictions. Consider using public transport to avoid traffic congestion.
